For applicants
with labor certification approvals:
We may proceed with concurrent
filing of the I-140 and I-485 applications.
For applicants
with approved I-140 petitions:
We may proceed with the filing of
the I-485 Adjustment of Status application for applicants who are

suggest that you immediately contact the U.S. Consulate to schedule your
interview appointment.
For applicants
waiting for interviews at the consulate:
We may proceed with the Consulate

U.S. Consulate to schedule your interview date.
For applicants in the U.S. on temporary status who are eligible to bypass
labor certification (e.g. Registered Nurses, Physical Therapists,
National Interest Waivers, Exceptional Ability Aliens, etc.):
We may proceed with concurrent

NOTE: We know these dates will
remain current at least until July 31, 2007; however, USCIS fee increases
go into effect on July 30 2007. Therefore, we will be working
expeditiously to get the cases filed while the visa bulletin is current
and before the fee increases go into effect.
USCIS SETS FINAL FEE SCHEDULE
Following a comprehensive review of more than 3,900
public comments, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS)
announced a final fee structure that includes benefits for some families
with children and also expands the availability of fee waivers and
exemptions.
The rule that was published in the Federal
Register, sets fees for the processing of immigration benefit
applications and petitions and includes some substantive revisions from
the proposal published in February of this year.
USCIS expects that the revenue from the new fee
structure will lead to a 20 percent reduction in average application
processing times by the end of fiscal year 2009, and will cut processing
times by the end of fiscal year 2008 for four key application types: the
I-90 (Renew / Replace Permanent Resident Card), I-140 (Immigration
Petition for Alien Worker), the I-485, and the N-400 (Naturalization).
These four application types represent one-third of all applications
filed.
The new fee structure is effective on July 30, 2007, and is posted at http://www.uscis.gov/files/nativedocuments/FinalUSCISFeeSchedule052907.pdf.
Applications or petitions postmarked or otherwise
filed on or after that date must include the new fee.
